2 Years have past

Well, it had been two years since I had started renovation and now living very peacefully in my humble home. Will take some pictures of the current state and we are really happy and grateful that things had been well.

This will be my last entry for my reno blog.

This reno had been a great time since we first started to search for the place, resales option, all new places, BTO options and many many friends help on getting a home for both of us. Its a hard road as many problems came up and things didnt turn out well, things that just went wrong and alot of problems arises that it had been countless to sum up. Haha.

Anyway, firstly, i thank God for providing this place to us and being with us through so much problems and countless of sleepless night because of money budget, how we getting things done, what is needed, everything. Without God, this home is not possible. To God be the glory.

To my parents and mother-in-law, thank you for the wonderful support given to us and providing so much to us for this place. Words cant repay the kindness and loving support that you all had given to us. Even sometimes we dont behave what we are told, but their generous support and love give us this lovely home.

To my hubby roy who supported me and had been with me all these while as we struggle through for this place.. finally we got our place and let have a new start. Life is always a struggle and hope we can be happy together. Have little roy's and odie in the future.. hahaha

To GnM (Wee) and Gendon (Sutini) - both of them help me so much during the start of getting a home and reno. Many of their advises and help to bring me what i have today. Thank you my dear friends.

Thank you for making a wonderful place and being there for us all these while.. how scared i was about ID firms run away and he just smile and say trust him.. hahaha How a friendship develop even how busy he was, he would listen and talk to me. I am so happy with his service and friendship. He does keep his promise on taking pictures of my place and he brought his good buddy YC who was our ROM photographer and future AD wedding photographer to us. Thank you for everything, words cant express how grateful we are for him. Not only for being a great ID with refreshing Ideas, and helping us personally out. You are the best ID in our eyes. Roy told me, tell him this, i have a big complain to make, "SOMA, U GOT NOTHING FOR ME TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.. THAT IS NOT FAIR!"

MBR + Mini Walk in Wardrobe Feel

Alot of things not really ready for my place..

Even the reno is officially over, but its just a new beginning.. I have learnt alot of things and now more of looking after the place. Learning roy habits and living with him is another whole new experience. Something i cant describe but only can express that its something new everyday.

Life is a jounery of experience.. No matter how things are, we are giving a choice on how to choose to look at things. I am still learning and struggling my life through.. Thanks for all who enrich my life and walk with me all these road.. Even Soma had officially finished his reno works with us yet he does follow up if we have any problems.. Such a dear friend Thanks for listening to my freaking out moments Soma~ Tower waiting for u until dry up by roy liao!! heh heh

Some are still not ready because i really still struggling to keep the place neat n tidy.. Dont mind the mess..

Thinking of a string curtain but budget dont really allow us for too much decorations... so we keep thing simple..

was last min additional by me.. Wanted more wardrobe space... Roy dream to have a walk-in wardrobe feel.. hahaha Soma gave us this idea also but the first idea was to have a vanity top with big mirror.. end up we didnt take that and change to this idea..

One last photo that i like very much is putting my first V-day rose for our first marriage year at our lovely veneer doors also last min additional because i dislike HDB door...

Well some cute decoration for the chinese new year...

this is one extra item that we added in... it was a large glass which came in quite later part of reno..

its to put decoration and Amos idea of writting notes on this glass.. some memo for family or reminders for things.. its a good way to communicate and we simply love it.. haha i can past cute stuff on the glass... can change whether i feel like it.. hee hee



this set of piggy family have a very special meaning as it was roy first soft toy family to me... those were the days.. and roy ask me to correct my dates.. they are only about 8 years old.. hahaha not 9 years... hahah sorry on that mistake...

its a good time to display them its the piggy year... sorry have to keep them in safe containers to prevent them to get dirty hee hee and cant find this set of piggy anymore.. i wanted to get more of the different type but sadly the shops never bring them in anymore...



their names are also... :P Piggy, Bacon, Pork Chop, Oin Oin, Non Non, Pon Pon...

The last three names are weird because.... i ran out of names to give them.. i know its quite sad to call part of the pig name on them.. but easier for me to remember them... haha

anyway it brings back alot of memories... feeling very happy to find the whole family back... :)

We didnt do much for this area due to the fact budget constraint..



the curtain rod is really something we didnt expect it.. as we asked for a simple rod so we can put decoration or simple cloth to change the look.. but .....



these pattern colours were design by Soma as roy wanted his blue room... Roy wants it to be very striking and extreme but Soma and I didnt want it as we thought it will spoil the whole room..

so Soma came up this type of pattern... something simple yet different.. now we know where our 12 colours come from..
