Ist Official Meet Up with City Design

Hmm from renvo talk, they dont really have good reviews. Well, the cooridnator trying hard to push us to get the propective drawing done but we refused as we dont want to pay the 500 usual downpayment for some drawing. Unless its really something so great but seriously, doing online homework, we can see alot of show rooms and ideas. Basically we talked to them about 2 hrs and getting our ideas through. We were just looking on their design and concept and we didnt make much comments. One thing i admire about the guy would be that he didnt stop asking us for our ideas and what we wanted so the designer can work on what we wanted. Basic quotation with packaged came up to 25k but i guess with our additional items might be more then that. Not much of comments but i need to do much more homework on the terms and material used. Will update once i have do my own research online again. Time for bed and long day at work again..

Our House Layouts

Well, I guess i should put this up~ This is our house.. Yeah its a blue Print! hee hee.. I wonder how my house will turn out to be.. Hope it would be something Roy and I created and be really happy. I had been quarrelling with him on the small details.. i dont think that bad but still not very good.. haha.. I guess i fully understand how jen and raymond goes through.. I hope i can pass this hard period of time..

Meeting Up with City Design ID on 30th July 2006

Well, Roy managed to arranged to meet up with the City Design ID on 3oth July 2006 to check our their showroom. Well some far reviews online is quite ok for them, so lets hope and see something good from them.

08-07-06 Choosing Our Love Nest~

08-07-06 <<< nice number huh? hee hee At about 9: 45am, we were at HDB hub to go and select our flat. I went to look for a toilet first as i was quite nervous about getting the house. Roy was trying to find where we could pay the 10 bucks coupon, so i saw the kiosk of the sale of new/resale flat.. I was just being curious on it. So i went to press for new flats thinking its to let us know what queue number it would be next. I forgot its like those bank/post office that just taking a queue number. The number came up and i felt so silly! Roy was asking me what i was doing? I said i was just curious on this machine... and our number is W00006 << cant remember how many zeros. I thought it might be still crowded but end up no one at all. So less then a min, our number appeared on the board! We were quite unprepared for it. I keep saying we are not ready but the lady just go ahead to process everything. I took a last look on the second choice unit and told her our choice. The scanning machine for the document didnt want to work so she had to go in to scan our documents, so we were just trying to recover from the sillyness of my button pressing and get a hold of ourselves getting the house that fast... Things were quite smooth for us except roy letter of his salary was rejected because the company had wrote basic salary instead of salary or gross, they think there might be extra income if its just basic salary. So besides that, it was quite ok. Everything else was done and we were asked to wait for awhile before going in to select our flat. We wanted the 9 floor of other block but.. end up i think high floor wins hands down.. then roy n I went up to pay the first 2k payment (ouch~!! just 2k fly away) and here we are we got our dream flat~!! :)

My Future Home

This is my House related blog. Decided to separate as I can monitor and take note for my renovations and anything on my house. For now getting all the information and putting it together. Hope things will procced smoothly.
