Minor Updates from me - ID n Air Con & Fridge & WM

Future Homes called to request us to meet up on Wednesday. But I didnt feel like going down to meet him. Roy went alone to get the quotation. He sms roy saying are u confirming to come down at 7pm. I told roy, if i was him, i just fly kite on him. Haha that will be fun. But i know my roy will not do that. I was stuck at office to clear some of the shipment documentations. He gave the budget about 25K but he forgot alot of things and have alot of typo mistakes. I had seen the quotation. nothing impressive and drawing nothing much also. he can put there 4room flat while ours is EA flat. Only price is correct but nah just dont really like it very much as nothing was offered. The amount of downlight were over board also. I think he put up 10 downlights in the dinning area? I was thinking do we need that many and it looks so over crowded.

Haha. Even my ex-ID says going to contact me last week until now also no news, i guess my choice ID is much better. Giving good service plays a big part. Constant updates and chatting will help in the long way in service line.

I found a nice friend instead. I dont know why but chatting with Soma (my iD nick) is very easy. I cant even do that for the rest of the ID/ contractor, there is always that awkward silence that i dont know how to continue with them. I guess its a blessing to find someone to click so well even before the start of renovations. I am not sure how things will go on, but i feel it will be ok for us. Haha.

Now just waiting to get the appointment letter and keys, then we can start on our renovations. I am quite excited as i feel happy about having a funny n friendly ID that makes it easier to handle rather just a business dealing and forget at the end of the day.

Air con getting from Hong Tar, parents want us to use back them as 2 years since their installation of air-con in my current parent house dont give problem. Most likely going for the mitsubishi starmex inverter for 3 rooms.

Advise from members

Most products are not from the origin country. There are manufacture from china, shanghai, thailand, indonesia so on and so far. So pls ask more detail before making the final decision to purchase the product.
As that you had mention about the energy saver, it is only a single "A" only. Try to hunt for a double "A", it mean energy saver and also save water.
Singapore bills are getting higher and higher if we dont save it we sure will broke.
As from what i know the Water consumption from LG is quite on the high end. Reaching about 80 litres and above. Also about the noise level is quite high too which is about 40dBA.
So try to look at other brands for Water consumption and energy saver. DOUBLE "A".

Well as what iandao had mention "brandt". The water consumption is about 44 litres to 50 litres. And their energy saver is lesser. If you free, u can go down to big retail stalls and check it out.

As for fridge it will be "Fisher & Paykel", go to big retail stalls and take a look at the Volume (l) and Energy Consumption (kWh). Compare them with other brands. Like compare about the same volume then compare the energy. Fisher & Paykel energy consumption will be about 20% ~ 30% lesser.

But still Fisher & Paykel and brandt will be slightly more expensive. Still u can save up quite a lot of electric bills in years to come.

Well i still looking but i think its a good advise to see on the volume and energy comsumption thing. Will try to look into details and come out so update over the weekend.
