Reno Updates ~ Shopping n Site Progress Report

Friday - It had been quite slow day in office. Not many pple in the office and boss dont seems to be in a good mood.Everyone just do their own stuff and try to hope for time to pass. Well i had been wishing the same also as i cant wait to get my new toilet bowls and sink! hee hee

Soma was in constant update with me on the renovation progress. Seriously I had forgotten half of it. Haha.
Lets see. What had i been talking to him the whole day? Haha. Its not in order of the day. I just blog what i can remember of the issue. lol Dont have that good memory of the days event.

Well, Amos advise us on what type of toilet bowls to get. Seriously i have no idea what was 6" type of toilet bowl. Haha Well i am not in this line so i dont know what it meant. Fortunately, He did have the patience to tell me (layman terms) its just the size of the toilet bowl fittings to the ground n wall. There is 4" to 12" type. Ricky had mention that 6" can fit 4" or 8" type also. Maybe next time i need to study on toilet bowls. We saw the 300 plus toilet bowls looks really good! hahaha. Very comfortable but we were thinking just a normal one will do. Roy wanted to choose other colours but I just like the white ones. Dont really like colour toilet bowls n sink.

haha If i have the money, I would like to change my vanity top but that is something that i cannot afford for now. I am quite contented for the new extra "want" stuff already. Soma called me and ask do you want me to hack away the two toilet doors too? I told him he better keep my doors in good condition. Haha. He says good lasting door is 300 plus! Normal n cheap hundred plus also can get. I tell him stop it! Dont anyhow tempt me.. He just give me very nottie laugh.. =.="

So we got the things for the toilet and i think my vanity top will look weird hope things just look ok. Haha Throw that Headache to Soma!!! But he just sms me saying "hahahaha UNLESS???? hahahhaha" I really wanted to throw a file over to his face already.. lol.. Well its that how crazy chat with him at times. Cant get angry with him.. hahaha end up he says it should be ok.. hopefully he is right on that..

Total Damage : 600 from Asia Excel Ricky all including the bottle tap chrome fitting type and new tap. Roy says we seems to be fated to buy that tap we got in the beginning. We wanted to change our masterbedroom tap as the plumber didnt fix the original one properly. End up HBD officer got them to change for us and now its working properly. We went back to Ricky to change and got some other stuff. Now we are back to get the tap again. Haha. Is that call fated to get it?

Soma updated us that our kitchen flooring is done up. Yippee. Cant wait to see them and will post the picture up tomorrow night. I am very grateful to have an ID to constantly update me on the process. It helps to ease my worries on the house. So far things can work out peacefully and no major headaches yet. I feel happy things are turning out fine as each day passes.

I can say i am very tired but very contented the process flow going quite smooth.

Thanks Soma for making things easy for us. Sometimes i can tell him alot of worries i have and he will just listen.. He taught me one thing, Even things seems to be terrible or scary, let actions speak louder then words. Day by day passes by for the reno, only the final product will ease my worries.

Anyway, We end the day with my favourite yam paste dessert! Yum yum

Forgot to add this, While going home, Roy and I was discussing about Soma ideas and things that he updated us. Suddenly someone shouted, "AMOS! walk faster!" We were both shocked and realised one lady calling his son who was walking very slowly behind. We cant stop laughing as we thought of Soma being so young. lol

Interesting equipment that contractor uses to see the level of the flooring. The bubbles in the centre will indicate that the floor tiles are with the same level. THanks to Roy for providing the information. I had some fun playing with it haha. :P

Basically that is the update from today site visit~ :) Happy it looks great~ lol
