well,actually nothing to do with reno but just want to thank Soma n his friend YC to help us on the ROM photographs.

erh personal pictures are not shown due to privacy of pple involved and also dont dare to show my ugly face.. :P

anyway, thanks for being a wonderful friend Soma, thanks to YC for taking time off to take wonderful pictures..

Its a jounery that just beginning for our new chapter in our lives... Walked together 8 years plus and now we have a home to go home and be happy.Thank you for taking time to read and will post the final pictures of the house once they are ready to show.

Thank You Soma & Pc & Oc Contractors

After a hard long week, finally our reno considered finished...

I know they had to rush for me since i had to start work on monday and not worry about my reno..

Really appreciate the extra efforts they put in for me and things were done up for us very nicely...

Its a first hand experience to see them work and its really not easy, its hard labour and especially carpentry works, electrican fitting and plumbing.. wow.. its not easy...

PC also help to pack things up for us and look after our place when i was not around..

He came on Friday and look around.. He told me finally done up and can live in right? I just smile and say yeah finally can see a home for us... he laugh..

its a long road since we booked the place and there are ups n down.. nothing to perfect but i am glad there were no major hiccups to caused big delays and frustrations and major unhappiness..

i would consider myself to be lucky to get a good ID and PC (though at times i cant understand him because of langauge barrier but it work out in the end) i am really relieved that now is a really new beginning for me n roy

at least i see roy doing all the setting up of stuff while i do the cleaning.. at least he is around to help out and its so much less burden...

Soma had been great friend n buddy all these while.. totally a blessing from God to click so well n great! From the time i was quite worried until my mind is so at ease now..

Basically, the big stuff are in beside my sofa and coffee table.. the rest are considered in place..

Soma if u are reading this.. u are really a blessing to both of us.. its our honor to know u.. words cant express our heartfelt thanks.. U are the best ID friend that no other can replace!

Pebble Wash & Relaminate Flooring

Some of carpentry works not done fully, so i will touch on them later.. :P

Today, rush all the way up our house to spend some time with roy, since he is going for a guy night out before our ROM... Wanted to know if he have any problems to be rectify for Soma to do.

Had been quite short fuse lately until roy ask me what is wrong with u? Even soma says i am too tense up. I guess its the final stage of reno and upcoming ROM. I feel unease and just too many things on my mind and the lack of sleep also. I seems to be picky with my PC lately, since he is quite stressful and maybe i am not used to his style of working. I always communicate with Soma and poor PC guy, i dont know how to handle his hokkien ways of talking and get irritated easily. Having a long talk with Soma today and understanding PC suitation, i guess i was abit sensitive on PC and decided to let things go.. Soma is not having a easy time also so he explain things to me today and i guess after talking things through, i am much better now. He is such a dear friend. Thank God for such a blessing. Even when i am so bottled inside, i still have a good friend to talk things through and get over the minor problems. :)

Since July 06 until today, it had been a long time, getting to know soma and his style and what my house have become, i am glad things are going to be finish yet feel so fast things are going to end. Mixed up odie again.. getting to know soma is my honor and i am really very grateful for him..

Roy was beside me and he was saying he got one complain on Soma - "Roy is so happy with the house until he cannot complain to others!" I told soma how he is going to solve this complain.. soma have nothing to say but laugh over the phone :lol:

Well tiler came to solve my kitchen cabinet flooring problem which i had posted in my previous entry that i am super happy and pleased :lol: He patched the flooring up with the white cement and clean up our place well. He wanted to do the pebble wash but the supreme guy was not done with the relaminate with flooring so he went off to settle other job site first. Roy and I were enjoying our house and the supereme guy was blasting chinese music.

Had been talking to tiler while he was working and he told me alot of stories and how his experience with owners and he had seen alot of type of owners.. he told us we are so easy going, everything also ok.. i told him well soma n contractors are experience so most of the time they know what is possible to do or not.. since we dont have any restrictions and i like soma designs so most of the time letting soma decide the best for us.. :P

we even talk about GST and stuff ahahaha.. quite a nice time learning how they do things and how he learn how to do this pebble wash..

really a nice time with contractor~ now we will leave it for one day to dry and monday will have my aircon unit to go up and solid top too~
