We didnt do much for this area due to the fact budget constraint..



the curtain rod is really something we didnt expect it.. as we asked for a simple rod so we can put decoration or simple cloth to change the look.. but .....



these pattern colours were design by Soma as roy wanted his blue room... Roy wants it to be very striking and extreme but Soma and I didnt want it as we thought it will spoil the whole room..

so Soma came up this type of pattern... something simple yet different.. now we know where our 12 colours come from..

Why We Choose Soma - Our Abc / Sbc

Long time didnt post as really tired from cleaning the place.. Sometimes i just want to enjoy the house. But cleaning up the place make me feel very happy that roy comes home to a clean house. It had been tiring for me, but thanks to roy for helping much around the house. Without him, i think i cant even finish half of the house

Well, since we met Soma until now, this is the biggest decision factor for choosing Soma as our ID...

Many ID had tried to give us ideas for the divider and some ideas came out

Roy wanted a mini bar counter for him and his buddies to chill out and these came out with different divider design. Dont mind the weird names we came up with.. heh heh...

1) Bamboo Dance Pole - Zen type of divider using bamboo poles.. we were really making fun of it since we wanted a bar counter.. so weird ideas came along with this bamboo divider. If u go IMM zen traditionals, you can see the bamboo divider.. Soma n I were making fun of it as we were thinking of pole dancing, so hence the name Bamboo Dance Pole came up. Roy and I rejected it but didnt dare to show any emotions to the ID who suggested it. Hahaha

2) Another ID came up with the idea of cosy G type of bar counter. The design of this bar counter is shape of the letter "G" and white based coat. Quite hard to describe it but the impression came up looks like the letter "G".. it was different but yet it just cant give us the edge to choose the ID.. Not forgetting its more expensive quote because of this special design of bar counter....

3) There were others quite ok but we were not impress with them. Soma 3rd meeting was the decision factor for choosing him as our ID. When he show us the sketch of the bar counter cum divider, roy eyes shone.. Its something i seldom see in roy and i just felt that was my main reason to choose Soma. It changed the whole meeting as he give us what u wanted and price was reasonable enough for us.

Well, the ABC / SBC as our friend Not guess it - Its called Amos Bar Counter or Soma Bar Counter

Dedicate this to Soma as this is really the one to make us choose him as our ID.

Its really a simple design yet it caught our heart.. it serves two purpose - a divder between the living area and dinning area yet also very useful place to sit n chill out near the balcony area for the wind...
