Site Meeting with ID & contractors

Monday was quite a long day for me.

I went down to SK early morning with traffic jam problem. Ah. Thank God for my ID there early. Thanks Amos!

The PUB man was there before me. I was so paiseh! Roy must be mad at me being late! Anyway the traveling time from clementi to SK takes more then 1.5 hrs! man.. super tiring before i reach there.

The funny thing was PUB man asked me to sign the paper and just had a chit chat with him. He asked me whether my ID was my husband? I nearly fainted! and say no no he is just my ID. Haha He look at me blur blur. Anyway, later i found out that my ID didnt say anything to him as he was trying to open the door and didnt hear PUB man question. When i told my hubby on this, he laugh like mad..

Anyway, it was quite an experience to talk to all the contractors in charge and the project cooridnator involved for my house. Most of them quite experience and very friendly.

We have to hack the balcony area due to the cement screeding had cracked and they say will have problem in the laying of tiles. Extra money coming out for that and also including water proofing again. My mom suggested to redo my both toliet floor tiles and re-do the floor again because of old water-proofing sitting there for 5 years.

I was like.. erh erh extra cost leh.. then she says sponsoring just for flooring!! she also wanted to sponsor the new toilet bowl and sink because mostly likely be affected by the hacking. But i told roy we just bear the cost for those toilet bowls and sink lor.

electrical man came and see the place and will quote us later.. dont know how much its going to cost us. :(

the Hong Tar guy came down to talk about the trunking problem and quote us accordingly. Will confirm with them one of these days. That Hong Tar guy went to put the company profile outside our house. I was like.. but anyway it dont matter if he wants to promote his company haha.

The HDB man had been so sweet to me that he gotten all the defects done up beside the water seepage problem. He did extra by asking the cement screeding for our house to go up yesterday. I told him i need it end of the month only but due to miscommunciations, things screw up abit. anyway thank god it was settled and hope my project cooridnator will do accordingly for that.

Will see how is the renovations as time goes on. At least i get to know who is the incharge of contractors and watching my ID cooridnate with the rest of the pple, make my mind ease. I know i am in good hands.
