Laminated Flooring + Paint Works 2

Friday is really a cartoon day for Odie. I took half day to settle some stuff and went over to my house to check on the progress. I was there for awhile and someone came knocking at my door. Those pple who have the pink paper(WIS) asking me whether they can see the place. I say no problem and let them in. Maybe new neighbours in the future? :P Anyway, they didnt dare to say much except the place is much bigger then the showroom. They thank me and left.

I was just walking around looking at my place. Feeling the sense of home. Since July 06 until now, we decided to get a house and managed to get our family blessing to get this house. Its a long road, knowing Soma and his team to get what we have today, its really a blessing. Not forgetting our parents support during these tough time. Words cannot express my feelings how much all my friends and family support for this home of ours. I dont know how to express or just bad at express my feelings out. To Soma n OC and family n friends, thank you for all the love n support given to us for our humble home.

I wanted to write this later after carpentry works, but yesterday being there at my house, make me want to say this out on my blog. Of coz, its only half way and there is more to come, from the emptiness of a house to what it is today. I just stood there and let the memory past me through, it was not a short time or that long time. The process of getting the right ID to suit us to many nights of discussion on both parties with ID. I think ID life not that easy too. haha Especially with my fickle minded, can change from one decision to other, haha Soma dont have good time servicing us. hee hee :P He prove time to time he is really the idea ID for us.~ :good:

So far my experience with Soma, i think its the most fun time and alot of laughter and crazy poking fun of each other. Even roy just dont know what to do with both of us. I guess Soma is like a older brother i never had. :P gaga

Anyway, update most likely be slower since we are waiting for carpentry..

On friday, from SK to balestier was something new route for me. As i dont really go to this area and i got lost.. yes i have no sense of direction... so i walked 1 hr from farrer park mrt to lavender street.. how do i get that? I have no idea.. i just walk n walk n walk. Even Soma was laughing at me and ask me to ask roy to pick me up while i have no idea where i am!! hahahahaha. Liao.. Managed to take a cab and we went to pay up the balance amount to light shop. The delivery of lights will be on monday. We end up getting a door bell from them too. We couldnt find a nice n cheap light for our cosy corner though. :(

Saturday - 11pm
I just back after chit chatting with Soma. The contractor couldnt make it due to the heavy rain and really busy time for him. So we just discuss on the carpentry works with Soma at his office and we went to find the light for that problematic cosy corner.. From one end of balestier to the other. From 3 plus to 6 or 7pm.. end up getting a display set light for 45 bucks.. the sales man throw in energy saving bulb and a normal bulb.. Retail price is 98 bucks. I think quite a good buy though its a display set. Until i can find something nicer next time and with more money, then we will go for it. hee hee After that we went to eat and sit down and chit chat until 10 plus.. hahaha. It was a pleasant time.

At least now the lights are settled and we can see some going to fix up either monday afternoon or tuesday. At least at night we can on some lights to see the effect. Will update when we head to our place again.

Only problem we worried is that the water seepage problem with the town council. Some more its rainning more heavily. Sigh.. Just pray things will be alright for us. :(
